David Perry & Associates, Inc. is honored to represent San Francisco's internationally acclaimed Asian Art Museum including its upcoming exhibition, Maharaja: The Splendor of India's Royal Courts (October 21, 2011 -- April 8, 2012).

From the throne room of an Indian court to the inner sanctum of the royal palace, Maharaja: The Splendor of India's Royal Courts explores the magnificence of India’s kings from the 1700s to the mid-20th century when Indian kingdoms experienced tumultuous shifts in political powers.

Elaborate and priceless jewelry, ornate weaponry, royal costumes, and stunning artworks are presented from every period of the Maharajas, right up to the 1940s, and even to the present day. Organized by London’s Victoria and Albert Museum and comprising priceless artifacts, jewels, artworks and court icons, Maharaja is the first exhibition to comprehensively explore the exclusive world of the maharajas and their unique culture of cultural patronage during periods of great political change in the Indian continent
