An internationally celebrated jazz vocalist with six albums to her name by age 30, Jane Monheit has performed at most of the major concert halls, festivals and jazz clubs around the world, and collaborated with Michael Buble, John Pizzarelli, Michael Feinstein, Ramsey Lewis and Fred Hersch. Her meteoric rise and two Grammy nominated albums prompted the San Francsico Chronicle to dub her the “overnight jazz diva.” Equally comfortable with standards, pop and Brazilian material, her Bay Area Cabaret appearance marks her first public “duo” show (piano and voice).”

Aficionados, snobs, obnoxious college girls, and a disgruntled security guard scrutinize a modern art exhibit on its final day. Performed in actual museums throughout San Francisco, 37 actors grace the "stage" prodding conceptual art as they observe three seemingly blank canvases and paper human figures hanging from a clothesline accompanied by a bowl of clothespins, which no one can seem to keep their hands off of.

Oh, what high jinks abound in Cole Porter and Moss Hart’s smart, cheeky, and ultra-moderne 1935 hit! The Royal Family of a “fictional European country” (read: England) uses the threat posed by an impending revolution as an excuse to abandon the throne and pursue their private dreams. Off they go on an adventure with parody versions of a host of recognizable 1930s celebrities (Noel Coward, Elsa Maxwell, Johnny Weissmuller, Ginger Rogers), who show the disguised monarch and his family the time of their royal lives. Cole Porter’s amazing score includes Begin the Beguine, Just One of Those Things, Why Shouldn’t I?, A Picture of Me Without You, and The Kling-Kling Bird on the Divi-Divi Tree. Megan Cavanagh and Michael Patrick Gaffney star as the Queen and King.
