Free 2pm to 6pm Event at Crab Wheel Plaza; Series Continues September 26 with Pier Party at Sunset

12 September 2026 – San Francisco, CA: Today, Fisherman’s Wharf invites Bay Area residents and visitors to dance through the decades at a free Pier Party featuring DJ JP Breganza, KPOP-Up and Magic Nostalgia at Crab Wheel Plaza.

Taking place from 2pm to 6pm, the waterfront celebration will move from classic hip-hop, R&B, Bay Area hyphy music, Original Pilipino Music and Budots beats to synchronized K-pop choreography and a live set packed with familiar pop favorites from the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and today. The Pier Party bar will serve ready-to-drink premium craft cocktails, with bistro-style seating, dancing and dozens of nearby restaurants, retailers and attractions to explore.

JP Breganza opens the afternoon from 2pm to 3:30pm. Hailing from Vallejo and based in the Bay Area, the high-energy DJ is celebrated for bridging classic hip-hop, R&B and local hyphy music with vibrant Original Pilipino Music and Budots beats. Best known for his viral supermarket dance parties at Daly City’s Seafood City, he regularly brings his infectious, genre-blurring sets to major venues including San Francisco’s Public Works. An established crowd favorite on land and sea alike, JP delivers a culturally rich dance-floor experience that captures the spirit of the modern Bay Area. Follow him on Instagram at @jpbreganza.

KPOP-Up will then take the floor for an interactive dance segment, inviting guests to live out their K-idol dreams with synchronized steps before Magic Nostalgia closes the afternoon from 4:30pm to 6pm.

With big vocals, punchy guitars, dance-floor energy and a set packed with familiar pop hits, Magic Nostalgia turns the songs everyone knows into a louder, bolder live experience. The band reworks favorites by artists including Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa and The Weeknd with rock edge, groove, swagger and plenty of singalong payoff. Follow the band on Instagram at @magic.nostalgia.

Today’s event is part of the fourth season of Pier Party, presented by the Fisherman’s Wharf Community Benefit District. The free series concludes Saturday, September 26, with Pier Party at Sunset at the Triangle Lot on Taylor Street. The golden-hour gathering will offer interactive activations, additional room for dancing and live music through sunset. Ample parking facilities are available within the district, but locals are encouraged to use public transit when possible.
