Lynn Ruth Miller
David Perry & Associates, Inc. is delighted to represent Lynn Ruth Miller, “the world’s oldest female stand-up comic.” At age 86, Lynn Ruth Miller is a renaissance woman who wears many hats. She entertains audiences of all ages with comedy and song. She is living proof that the older you are, the more fun you have. Born in Toledo, Ohio, Lynn Ruth only took to the stage at the age of 71, after a career as a writer, tutor and newspaper columnist. Best known for playing the Fairy Godmother in Salem Kapsaski’s 2016 Horror Musical “Spidarlings” Lynn Ruth is now taking Europe by storm, with a recent video of her act attracting more than 3 million views (as of this writing). In summer / fall 2020, with the help of David Perry & Associates, Inc, Lynn Ruth will be returning stateside just in time for the Presidential Election.
At age 67, Lynn Ruth re-invented herself when she published her first book, “Starving hearts”, an autobiographical novel about her struggle with bulimia and an overwhelming mother. She became a speaker who inspired others with eating disorders to believe that they can help themselves just as she did. The book has now sold 6,200 copies. She followed it with a series of Thoughts books, compilations of essays written as columns for her local newspaper, The Pacifica Tribune.
