David Perry & Associates, Inc. is proud to work with the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association and National Park Service, including the launch of the landmark new documentaryBalcony on the World chronicling the creation of its iconic building along San Francisco’s northern waterfront. The documentary will debut on PBS station KQED in August 2025.

For more than 70 years, San Francisco Maritime National Park Association has worked to bring maritime history to life for visitors of the San Francisco Bay Area. When the Association was founded in 1950 as the San Francisco Maritime Museum Association, its primary mission was the operation of a museum in the landmark art deco building in Aquatic Park at the foot of Polk Street. In 1954 the Association acquired the tall ship, Balclutha, renovated it and opened it for public tours. By 1958, Balclutha was welcoming 220,000 visitors a year. This success inspired further museum ship restoration in California and around the world.  In 1988, the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park was created, and currently serves as stewards of the Maritime Museum Building, historic ships and Aquatic Park.    https:/maritime.org/
