Bay to Breakers Community Breakfast
to Celebrate Local Impact of Company Teams
Wednesday, September 10 – 9:30am – YES SF Headquarters
5 September 2025 — San Francisco, CA: A San Francisco tradition meets community spirit. On Wednesday, September 10 at 9:30am, Bay to Breakers will host a Community Breakfast at YES SF Headquarters, bringing together business leaders, company teams, and community members for a relaxed morning of connection, coffee, and pastries. The highlight of the event will be the presentation of a special donation check to YES SF, representing 10% of the proceeds from Bay to Breakers 2025 Company Teams.
“Bay to Breakers is not just a race, it’s a reflection of San Francisco’s creativity, inclusivity, and civic pride,” said Rodney Fong, President and CEO of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. “The support of company teams strengthens workplace bonds while making a meaningful contribution to organizations like YES SF that can serve our community.”
For Bay to Breakers organizer Motiv Sports, the breakfast underscores the legacy of the race as a platform for giving back.
“Bay to Breakers has always been about fun, fitness, and community,” said Crystian Kumnick of Motiv Sports. “This year, we’re thrilled to shine a light on the impact of company teams and celebrate their generosity in supporting YES SF.”
The Community Breakfast offers attendees the chance to network, learn more about Bay to Breakers’ company team program, and celebrate San Francisco’s ongoing spirit of collaboration.
“At its core, Yes SF is about saying ‘yes/ to a sustainable future,” said Fong. “YesSF is about enabling visionary ideas, and supporting the people behind them.”

About Bay to Breakers:
Since 1912, Bay to Breakers has been a quintessential San Francisco experience—uniting runners, walkers, and revelers from around the world for a one-of-a-kind race from the Embarcadero to Ocean Beach. Organized by Motiv Sports, the race celebrates San Francisco’s unique culture while supporting community organizations and local causes.
About YesSF:
Launched in 2023, Yes SF began as a place-based innovation challenge calling for sustainable solutions to revitalize downtown San Francisco. 14 Top Innovators were selected from over 150 applicants for their world-leading innovations in urban sustainability. Now, they’re deploying their innovations and growing in San Francisco. Since the first challenge, a second UpLink challenge launched, the SF Chamber of Commerce’s Yes SF Sustainable innovators Network expanded support for innovators, and a physical community and coworking space in the heart of downtown San Francisco opened. There you can find regular programming for startups, small business, and San Franciscans curious about the future of their city.
