A case in point: the new Riggers Loft Wine Company and Tasting Room along the waterfront adjacent to the historic WWII museum ship Red Oak Victory.

Riggers Loft Wine Company is the new home to R∓B Cellars, as well as other artisan wineries: Carica Wines, Irish Monkey Cellars and the Far West Cider Company. A special VIP Reception will be held at the winery on Wednesday, March 16th from 5p-8pm celebrating the opening of the winery and tasting room – the first winery in Richmond since Winehaven closed its doors in 1919. Directions: Take the Canal / Garrard Blvd. exit off of I-580. Go under the highway towards the bay. Follow Canal Blvd. to the very end. Look for winery signs along Canal Blvd. directing you to the winery,
