Today on the anniversary of her birth, we celebrate the life and legacy of Rainbow Honor Walk honoree Frida Kahlo (July 6, 1907 – July 13, 1954).The celebrated Mexican artist transformed physical pain, identity, love and political conviction into deeply personal works that continue to inspire generations. Kahlo’s uncompromising portrayals of the female experience, Mexican culture and her own complex life established her as an enduring feminist and LGBTQ+ icon.
